Upcoming Interview with Fr. Frank Pavone

On Saturday, September 25th, I will be conducting an interview with Fr. Frank Pavone, internationally recognized for his work with Priests for Life.  I am turning to the readers of this blog and encouraging you to post your questions to Fr. Pavone in the comments section and/or email them to me.  I will choose from among the questions to determine the topics in the interview.

If you ever had a question to ask Fr. Frank Pavone and Priests for Life now is your chance.

Is it a mortal sin for a Catholic to vote for a politician who is pro-abortion?

As pro-lifers who pray in front of abortion mills, we display signs/pictures of aborted babies when we pray. We are confronted on a regular basis by parents about the harm this does to their children (under 10 years of age).
We respond that we believe the children are not emotionally harmed, and the pictures serve to awaken in adults the horror of abortion.

Is there information available substantiating that the pictures of aborted babies do not have a damaging emotional effect on children?

We know a preborn infant can feel pain at 6 weeks in utero, with its nervous system already intact,so can't the law to end abortions be justified due to "torture" of unborn children-- before they are killed?
We don't even torture-pigs or cows before they are slaughtered.
What is being done to bring this to the light, according to our laws?.
What more can everyday citizens do to combat abortion?

We see so much pro-life ground being lost during this current presidential administration. Are there any rays of light that we can hold onto as a movement?

What could or should we do when a friend have had an abortion?
a old friend of mine (I known her since 6 years old)aborted 2 years ago. We have spoken of it, she does not regret it,but has suffer she spokes of his "foetus" as a "baby" but not a "completely formed baby". she knows that I am opposed to abortion. Now, she lives with her boyfriend (abortion decision- anti-catholic) and have given birth. So abortion seems an old history.
She is catholic by name and faith, but beacuse of her life she has praticaly abondonned catholic morality. she will not married herself and baptised her baby.
This story tortured me... she does not seems to knows that abortion is punish by excommunication. Nobody applicates it here, in France.
I does not tell her because it could break the last string with the Church.
in her former parish she has never been introduce to reconciliation.
thanks you
